Following a museum visit, we were inspired by Canadian artist Joyce Wieland to incorporate 3D elements to our quilt. We started off with neon and pastel colors as inspiration, and one keyword 'Boreal' to improvise on our own. Then met on a retreat to blend all those crazy elements together. 'Blind them with kindness'; our, very Canadian, response to the surrounding darkness. If this quilt has made you smile, then it has met its purpose.
