Can a quilt be the centerpiece of a new friendship?

This quilt was created in the aftermath of Quiltcon 2024, where we all meet for the first time. 5 french Canadians, 5 mothers, 5 healthcare workers, 5 quilters. Inspired by a collage of 5 women wearing different pattern dresses by Jemma Morris (cover of Uppercase 47th issue), we improvise on our own first. Then we got together on a weekend retreat to piece it together.
