Improvisational quilt, made entirely with upcycled fabrics, with curve piecing. The almost matchstick size quilting was a challenge of patience, giving the magnitude of the quilt. It was showcased at Quiltcon Together where I described it as follow: " In an organic process, shapes and colors tell a story of light and shadow". The honest story is that while I was working on the quilt top, I went through a miscarriage, and, accordingly, the red and the darker tones took a predominance that was not initially intented. This is, in fact, a therapeutic quilt, as are so many.
