I started this quilt in January 2019; piecing with a giant belly, pregnant with my first child,  then went into labour right after basting it, and managed to quilt part of it with a newborn sleeping on me in a baby carrier.

This quilt is a great representation of motherhood for me so far. It is wildly improvised and I tend to focus more than I should on the imperfections, but I am very proud of it and it is overflowed with love.
